Content Strategy Project Overview:

In the competitive world of PropTech, Rello—a vibrant B2B SaaS startup—needed to stand out amidst a crowded digital landscape. That's where I stepped in, armed with an arsenal of SEO tools and a vision to catapult the brand to the forefront of organic search visibility and engagement. The mission was clear: craft and execute an SEO-optimized content strategy to amplify Rello's online presence and skyrocket their engagement metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

To kick things off, I dove headfirst into targeted keyword research and competitive analysis, wielding tools like SEMrush and Moz SEO to develop a full view of the landscape. The goal was to identify the most valuable keywords and untapped opportunities that would steer Rello towards the top of Google's search results.

Next, I meticulously mapped out a comprehensive content calendar. This involved carefully planning and integrating blog posts, social media content, articles, technical SEO enhancements, and website updates to create a cohesive strategy that considers both search engines and user experience. This approach ensured that every piece of content was well-coordinated and aligned with the technical strengths of Rello’s sales progression platform.

But, all this was work was definitely not a solo mission. It was a team effort involving cross-functional collaboration,  bringing together a freelance web developer, a technical SEO expert, and Rello's internal team. Together, we were able to work in harmony to enhance search engine ranking and user experience, making sure Rello’s content hit all the right notes with its target audience.

How to develop a content strategy for B2B PropTech

Collaboration and Stakeholders:

My collaborative efforts were anchored by close coordination with Rello's CEO/Founder and Head of Marketing. Together, we defined strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) that would serve as our North Star. With the product teams, I gathered intricate technical details and translated them into user-friendly content that showcased Rello’s unique value proposition.

The sales team also played a pivotal role, acting as our real-time feedback loop. Their insights allowed us to fine-tune our social media and website content to be not just informative but irresistibly engaging.

Outcome:

The results? In just five months, Rello's primary keyword leapt from a distant 57th place to a commendable 31st, a testament to our relentless SEO efforts. Social media interactions experienced an astronomical rise of 1,115.2%, while unique visitors surged by 165.9%, and followers grew by 140%. Most impressively, organic website traffic for Rello swelled by approximately 31.8%, proving that our SEO-optimized content strategy was the magic potion Rello needed to enchant its audience.
