MEET TIFF: MY WRITER STORY

I’ve spent the last several years developing content strategies, writing marketing campaigns, and creating digital publications from scratch.

I started as a writer.

In 4th grade, I won an award in the elementary writing contest, and it was all over after that. I was going to be a writer one way or another.

In college, studying English Lit meant learning how stories work—how tone shapes meaning, how audiences read between the lines, and why certain voices linger long after the last page.

That curiosity eventually led me into marketing, where I discovered that same storytelling instincts that shape creative fiction and non-fiction also shape successful campaigns.

It all comes down to how people read, feel, and make decisions.

So, all this to say, my work lives in that middle space between creative and analytical, where storytelling meets strategy.

Yes! I regularly write SEO-driven content designed to rank in search results—even in the age of AI—while still sounding natural and engaging for readers. My process typically includes keyword research, search intent analysis, and content optimization using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.

My marketing experience spans the board. I previously worked with marketing agencies, startups, tech companies, SaaS platforms, financial institutions, and independent media projects. 

Much of my early experience revolved around content and social media copy for small businesses—from lawyers and dentists to bookstores and HVAC technicians, targeting their industry and geographical keywords to help them find local customers. 

My more recent experience includes AI-driven customer service platforms, IoT startups, fintech marketing, and independent publications focused on travel, literature, and culture. 

Whether it’s a small business, a tech giant, or an independent artist, I approach each project with curiosity, care, and a focus on telling a story in a way that truly connects with my client’s audience.

A content strategist plans how content supports larger business or editorial goals. This can include creating editorial calendars, identifying SEO opportunities, developing messaging for campaigns, and analyzing performance data to improve results. My role often combines strategy with hands-on writing and publishing.

Absolutely! I regularly build and manage WordPress websites, including site structure, blog publishing, landing page creation, and on-page SEO improvements. I’ve also built independent digital publications from the ground up using WordPress.

Email is one of my favorite aspects of content marketing! I design and write email campaigns, including newsletters, product updates, and lifecycle/segmentation messaging. My focus is on writing emails that feel authentic and engaging while guiding readers toward clear and persuasive calls to action.

I’d love to! I work with teams to develop content strategies that combine SEO insights, audience research, and storytelling. This process often includes planning blog content, case studies, campaign messaging, and editorial calendars.
